New office and communication world for Burkhalter Services AG

The Burkhalter Group is a leading provider of interdisciplinary building technology in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Its services include heating and cooling technology, ventilation and air conditioning technology, sanitary engineering and electrical engineering. Beyond Design was responsible for the design and planning of the remodelling of the Medienpark Altstetten, the support of the employee change process and the creative construction management.

The remodelling was initiated in order to merge the two locations of the services companies. Burkhalter Management AG in Zurich Altstetten and Burkhalter Services AG in Opfikon provide various administrative services for the Burkhalter Group and its Group companies. The two companies were merged into one service organisation on 1 July 2024. They now work hand in hand at a new, shared location. The move to the media park at Flurstrasse 55 in Zurich Altstetten paves the way for closer and more effective collaboration - and thus for even more attractive services for the Burkhalter Group and its Group companies. Key elements included the installation of kitchenettes and a cafeteria, a large number of bookable meeting rooms, focus boxes, telephone booths and generous space with a harmonious colour scheme.

Employees were supported by Beyond Design from the outset with several employee information events and feedback sessions.
